About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in designing and implementing test automation strategies across web and API. In this role, you will lead efforts to ensure the highest quality of our products by building robust, scalable automation frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other QA professionals to define quality standards and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for web, and API testing (mobile advantage).
- Ensure high test coverage and maintainability across multiple projects.
- Execute and maintain manual test cases when necessary to ensure end-to-end test coverage.
- Identify, log, and verify bugs, working collaboratively with development teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Analyze test results and quality metrics to drive improvements in the development process.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on test automation.
- Proven experience with one or more test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java).
- Solid experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured
or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration in DevOps workflows.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
- Understanding complex
multi-disciplinary systems.
Nice to Have:
- Strong and proven experience with JS/TS automation scripts
- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with OpenSearch, Grafana, and Sentry for observability and monitoring
