The role / impact

As a Senior Sales Operations Analyst, you will serve as the analytical and operational backbone of the Canadian go-to-market function. You will play a vital role in enabling the team to perform at their best by synthesising data, insights, and operational rigour across the sales engine. This involves proactive forecasting of metrics, quota deployment aligned with business objectives, and maintaining internal systems at peak efficiency to drive meaningful growth for our small business community.

You will act as a strategic partner to sales leadership, translating complex commercial questions into clear, evidenced recommendations rather than just raw numbers. By owning data accuracy in Salesforce and designing sophisticated SQL models, you will ensure the business has a single, reliable version of the truth to inform critical decision-making and territory strategy.

The team / how they connect

You will join the Canada Sales Operations team, working closely with the Sales Operations Manager and the wider global GTM Operations group. This team acts as the central link between sales leadership, finance, and strategy, ensuring everyone has the visibility and tools needed to succeed in an autonomous yet highly collaborative environment.

The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on

  • Building and maintaining scalable SQL data models and Tableau dashboards to power regional reporting on partner performance and pipeline health.

  • Driving the adoption of modern GTM technology and AI tools, including Salesforce, Clari, and Gong, to maximise regional efficiency.

  • Designing and executing territory models and quota deployments that align with the current budget and business objectives.

  • Leading your contribution to the core sales rhythm through weekly forecasting, pipeline reviews, and quarterly business reviews.

Here are some of the things we are looking for

  • You bring extensive experience in sales or revenue operations, ideally within a SaaS or subscription-based business environment.

  • Your strong SQL skills allow you to build and maintain scalable data models that the business can trust and act upon.

  • Proficiency in Tableau or similar BI tools is something you possess, enabling you to create and document dashboards for non-technical stakeholders.

  • You have hands-on experience with Salesforce, including a deep understanding of data quality management and CRM administration.

  • A high degree of ownership defines your work style, as you naturally drive projects to completion and solve problems independently.

  • Communicating complex data insights clearly is a strength of yours, helping you build strong relationships with sales leadership and cross-functional partners.

Compensation & Total Rewards

The expected base salary range for this role is $66,000 to $116,000 CAD

Individual pay is determined by various factors, including geography, level of experience, and the specific skills you bring to the role.

In addition to base pay, Xero’s roles are eligible for the following forms of variable compensation:
