At Botanic Tonics, we know our world is fast, noisy and distracting. It can easily leave us feeling tied up, strung out and not ourselves. Maybe you think the more supercharged you are, the better you’ll be. Maybe escape is the only way for you to truly feel free. We’re not judging — we just have a different point of view. Because we’re not a fuel for keeping pace with the rat-race of every day. We’re not an elixir that transports you through the clouds to a tranquil place. We’re kava products with blends of other naturally active ingredients, designed to bring you down to earth and into the present, so you can make the most of every moment.
Why waste effort trying to quiet the noise when you can tune into it, to hear the one voice that matters? We believe choosing to engage with the here and now is more fulfilling. It makes us feel good, enriches our lives, and brings out our best selves.
Be Present. Be You. When you can truly be there, you feel free.

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Senior Recruiter with 7+ years of proven success in high-volume recruiting, ideally within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry or another fast-paced, field-based environment.

In this contract role, you will own recruiting for critical field sales positions, support hiring leaders, and help elevate our recruiting processes. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys strategic ownership, and excels at building strong talent pipelines — all while operating as an independent contractor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for high-volume sales roles — from sourcing and screening to offer and onboarding — ensuring speed, quality, and alignment with business goals.

  • Build proactive pipelines for high-demand positions by leveraging creative sourcing strategies, networking, and market insights.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders, aligning talent strategies to business needs and providing insights on market trends, candidate availability, and hiring best practices.

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through transparent communication, personalized interactions, and brand advocacy throughout every stage of the process.

  • Monitor key recruiting metrics to assess funnel health, track progress, and recommend improvements to enhance speed, quality, and candidate engagement.

  • Support junior recruiters by sharing best practices, refining sourcing methods, and helping elevate team performance and consistency.

Qualification

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in high-volume, full-cycle recruiting, preferably in CPG, retail, or distribution industries.

  • Proven success filling sales, field, or client-facing roles (e.g., account managers, route sales reps, field merchandisers).

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple open requisitions.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with hiring managers and candidates alike.

  • Proficiency with ATS systems and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and social sourcing platforms.

  • Comfortable working in a contract / independent contributor capacity with minimal oversight.

  • Data-minded approach — able to track and interpret metrics to drive process improvements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.

This is a 5-6 month contract position and needs to be able to start immediately.

Benefits Overview: Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans, 401k Match, Family Leave, PTO & Paid Holiday Schedule.
