About this Role

We are seeking a highly creative, execution-focused Senior Social Content Creator/Video Producer to join our growing Brand and Marketing team on a part-time contractor basis.

This role is responsible for producing fast, high-quality, social-first video content that drives engagement, builds brand affinity, and fuels organic growth across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms. You will own quick-turn content production for reactive trends, cultural moments, gameplay captures, and behind-the-scenes content, while partnering closely with the Social Lead to bring campaign concepts, game launches, IP partnerships, and seasonal initiatives to life.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands how modern content moves — emotionally, culturally, and quickly — and wants to help build a mission-driven brand at the intersection of movement, family, and technology.

Core Responsibilities
  • Create, film and edit high-quality, social-first short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and emerging platforms.
  • Own quick-turn content production for reactive trends, cultural moments, gameplay captures and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Partner closely with the Social Lead to bring campaign concepts, game launches, IP partnerships and seasonal initiatives to life through compelling creative execution.
  • Capture and produce platform-native content that feels authentic, entertaining and optimized for organic social performance.
  • Stay on the pulse of social trends, editing styles, platform updates and emerging creator behaviors, proactively bringing new execution ideas to the team.
  • Optimize content for maximum engagement through strong hooks, pacing, storytelling, captions, sound selection and platform best practices.
  • Support content production for major campaigns, retail launches, events, creator collaborations and gameplay captures as needed.
  • Collaborate with agency partners, internal creative team and social team to maintain a consistent, premium brand look and feel while keeping content fresh and culturally relevant.
  • Work independently with minimal oversight, managing multiple fast-paced projects and delivering high-quality creative on tight timelines.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to elevate Nex's social presence through innovative content formats and best-in-class execution.
Required Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of experience creating and editing social-first video content, ideally for a consumer, gaming, or entertainment brand.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-performing, organic short-form video across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Proven ability to film and edit quick-turn, trend-responsive content independently.
  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
  • Deep understanding of social platform trends, editing styles, and engagement mechanics.
  • Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects and deliver on tight deadlines with minimal oversight.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in gaming, family, or consumer tech brands.
  • Experience covering live events, retail launches, or creator collaborations.
  • Experience working alongside agency partners and internal creative teams.
  • Familiarity with gameplay capture and behind-the-scenes content formats.
What Sets You Apart
  • Ability to balance speed with premium creative quality.
  • Self-starter mentality, comfortable operating with minimal oversight.
  • Excited about building a new category around active, family-first play.
