Role Overview

As an Android Engineer, you'll own and lead mobile engineering projects, building enterprise-grade AI experiences for legal professionals on Android devices. You'll architect and implement complex mobile features, mentor other engineers, and drive technical decisions that shape Harvey's mobile platform strategy.

This role requires deep technical expertise across Android development, AI integration, and enterprise software. You'll work across multiple product lines, collaborating with our AI research, product, and backend engineering teams. You'll be part of an in-person team in San Francisco, solving complex problems at the intersection of AI, mobile development, and professional services.

What You’ll Do
  • Design enterprise-scale Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

  • Integrate real-time AI interactions and streaming capabilities.

  • Build voice input and audio processing features for on-the-go professional workflows.

  • Implement document handling and camera integration capabilities.

  • Develop secure document viewing and annotation systems.

  • Establish enterprise-grade security and authentication protocols.

  • Create scalable collaboration features with advanced permission systems.

What You Have
  • 5+ YoE (post-BS/MS) in a product-focused Android engineering role.

  • Proven track record shipping fast-growing products using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

  • Experience building Android applications that support multiple product lines or complex enterprise workflows.

  • Strong CS fundamentals and programming skills.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail in building intuitive and polished mobile experiences.

Compensation Range

$200,000 - $260,000 USD
