We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in C# and Angular to help build and enhance our exam development platform. This on‑site role in Asunción involves developing high‑quality web applications, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and applying best engineering practices.


Location: On-Site (Asunción) // Remote if you are not in Asunción (Working hours: 9 AM - 6 PM Paraguayan Time Zone)

Job Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in C# and Angular at The Client, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our exam development platform. This role demands a passion for crafting clean, efficient code and a dedication to implementing dynamic user interfaces and robust backend services. You will collaborate closely with our product and design teams to push the boundaries of traditional exam creation and delivery.


Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop high-quality web applications using Angular for the frontend and C# for backend services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and innovative solutions.
- Ensure optimal application performance and user experience through efficient code and responsive design.
- Participate in code reviews, maintaining high standards of code quality and scalability.
- Employ best practices in software development, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and enhancements.
- Stay updated on new technologies and apply improvements to existing processes and applications.
- Mentor junior developers to foster a culture of growth and learning.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- 5–6 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on C# and Angular.
- Proficiency in responsive web development and understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Knowledge of scalable and maintainable software architecture patterns.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced team.

- Strong communication skills for effective engagement with team members and stakeholders.

- Experience with AI/ML pipelines or chat-bots, preferably involving RAG or similar retrieval-based architectures.
