About Nclusion

Nclusion is on a mission to provide traditional financial services to 1.4 billion people worldwide without access today. Without a secure way to save, invest, or transfer money, individuals are not empowered to accumulate short or long-term wealth. We're changing that by bridging the gap between traditional banking and the communities that need it most.

About the Role

Our Crypto Product Engineering team is building and integrating decentralized financial primitives that power Nclusion’s products — including payments, yield, liquidity, FX, and programmable financial flows. This team operates at the intersection of finance, cryptography, and software engineering, translating on-chain financial systems into reliable, production-grade services.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and build systems that interact with DeFi protocols and on-chain financial primitives
  • Implement logic around swaps, liquidity, yield, fees, and risk controls
  • Build backend services that orchestrate on-chain actions safely and efficiently
  • Analyze economic behavior, edge cases, and failure modes in decentralized systems
  • Contribute to internal tooling, simulations, and monitoring for DeFi systems

What You Bring to the Table

  • Strong backend engineering experience and comfort with distributed systems
  • Working knowledge of DeFi concepts: AMMs, liquidity pools, yield, fees, slippage, risk
  • Experience integrating with smart contracts or blockchain data sources
  • Analytical mindset with attention to financial correctness and edge cases
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, evolving technical domains
  • Bonus: experience designing or contributing to DeFi protocols
