The role
Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Build backend-focused full-stack systems and AI workflows, taking new projects from prototypes to reliable production services.
What you'll do
- Develop backend infrastructure and services that integrate language models.
- Own early product concepts through secure, scalable production delivery.
- Scale existing systems as customer adoption grows.
- Improve architecture, observability, and code quality.
- Work directly with engineers and technical leadership in a lean team.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 5 to 10 years of backend-focused full-stack engineering experience.
- Early-stage startup experience or substantial new-product ownership at a larger company.
- Ability to independently deliver projects with limited oversight.
- Strong Python and experience building APIs, distributed systems, or data-heavy backends.
- Clear communication and ownership of engineering quality.
Bonus points
- Healthcare or health technology interest or experience.
- MongoDB, PostgreSQL, FastAPI, or AWS experience.
- Production LLM or generative AI experience.
Benefits
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: USD 190,000 to 230,000 per year.
- Equity: 0.1-0.2%.

Location and work model
- Hybrid role in San Francisco; the specific onsite schedule will be discussed.
