About F2

F2 is redefining how the financial sector operates by bridging the gap between legacy workflows in institutional finance and the future of AI-driven efficiency. While large financial firms comprise the backbone of the economy, their front and middle-office processes are still manual, spreadsheet-heavy, and fragmented.

F2 is the leading vertical AI platform purpose-built for private markets and commercial banking. We transform dense, unstructured deal materials into auditable, decision-ready insights in minutes. This is not generic AI tooling. It is core infrastructure embedded directly into underwriting, credit, and portfolio workflows. We are the only fully vertical platform in this space with meaningful, proven revenue and real product–market fit.

The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer who loves building from 0→1 and shipping product that customers feel. You will actively write production code and deliver critical platform components from scratch, working closely with the team to power F2's AI-driven platform, helping private markets investors analyze deals with velocity and accuracy.

What you'll do:
  • Build our product. Own and implement software features end-to-end across the stack that power our AI platform. In this role you are actively coding and delivering critical platform components from scratch, not just planning them.

  • Deliver excellence and quality. Set and uphold coding standards, architectural patterns, and review processes; mentor engineers. Co-own a culture of practical, reliable, test-driven development that rapidly addresses real business needs.

  • Build for scale. Contribute to monitoring, scaling, and hardening the architecture of the platform and the systems behind it as enterprise demand grows.

  • Cross-functional collaboration. Partner closely with product, security, and go-to-market teams to translate our roadmap into features and deliverables that ship quickly and hold up in production.

What you bring:
  • Full-stack experience. 4+ years building production software across frontend and backend, with a track record of shipping features end-to-end.

  • Passion for engineering and learning. You care about your craft and continuously push to get better.

  • AI fluency. Comfort building with AI at the core — integrating LLMs, retrieval, or agents into real product experiences.

  • Modern web expertise. Strong grasp of modern web application development practices and patterns.

  • Bonus points. Familiarity with Python, FastAPI, TypeScript, Node.js, Supabase, and AWS is a plus.
