About the Company

Our client is a seed-stage AI platform for private markets investors, built for private credit, private equity and commercial banking. It turns dense, unstructured deal materials into auditable, investment-grade analysis and memos in minutes, and teams using it evaluate deals more than 60% faster. Its customers include commercial banks and private credit funds. It has raised more than $29M from top investors, has roughly 25 to 35 employees and has an AI-native, lean culture. Revenue is growing faster than its five-person engineering team.

About the Role

Take full-stack ownership of major product areas. The team needs AI-native generalists who want real ownership and accountability while building the tool finance professionals rely on.

What You Will Do

Own a product area end to end, such as the AI agent that builds presentations for finance users, and drive its roadmap with customers and the product manager.

Ship across the full stack, from frontend and backend to database migrations, with AI agents writing your code.

Write and review technical design docs and use AI agents to review code, about 10 to 20 percent of your time.

Work directly with customers, sales and customer success to turn finance users' needs into product.

Work with staff engineers to improve your area, then take on more of the codebase over time.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

Four or more years building production software as a true full-stack engineer (four to six is the sweet spot) at a seed to Series E startup or a top technology company.

AI-native: you use agents to write and review your code and have built with AI, such as agents or harnesses, even in personal projects.

A degree in computer science or an engineering field.

A standout spike in your background, steady career progression and a clear reason for wanting a startup.

Comfort working directly with non-technical customers such as finance professionals.

Benefits

Compensation and Benefits

$220,000-$270,000 base salary plus a 15% annual bonus, competitive equity and relocation support.

Location and Work Model

Full-time and hybrid, at least three days a week in the San Francisco office. You must not require visa sponsorship.
