About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Customer Information Management (CIM) team supporting Hogan Customer Information System application. This role will analyze, design, develop strategic customer technical solutions, interface with enterprise systems of records, architecture, frontend channels and middleware servicing applications. This role also supports resolving issues as well as testing coded solutions, locating or creating test data in support of end-to-end testing with partners, performs production research as needed to resolve reported issues or to assist other team members with production research and finally performs production validation of implemented solutions to confirm successful implementations.

In this role, you will:
- Analyze, Design, Develop, Test mainframe COBOL, EasyTrieve, CICS, IMS, DB2, JCL, PROCs
- Collaborate with product teams, platform teams, and other partners for requirements, design, and end to end testing
- Support adhoc research, enterprise testing needs, and incident/problem management
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of Mainframe experience
- 4+ years of hands-on COBOL and CICS experience
- 2+ years of hands-on IMS and DB2 experience
- 2+ years of Experience working with MQ and Kafka
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with Gen AI tools and platforms
- Ability to provide production support and participate in on-call rotations
- Deep knowledge of Enterprise Customer applications including Hogan CIS
- Cross Functional skills to support business analysis role as well as QA testing role (ability to perform Business Analysis Role for some projects as well as Quality Assurance Role for other projects)
- Organized leadership skills to independently self-manage
- Clear communication skills to enable documentation of designs as well as the verbal skills to clearly discuss with management (Attends project meetings and communicates to managers and developers design decisions in clear, concise manner)
- Strong Risk Management awareness and mitigation skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment
- Availability to provide production support as part of an on-call rotation
- Flexibility to support deployments and incident resolution as needed
- Flexibility to support other roles - Business Analysis and QA Testing
- Ability to work beyond regular hours to meet timelines
