We are seeking a Solutions Architect with significant design and implementation experience involving HPC and AI architectures in computing environments who can successfully position and sell solutions to both customers and partners in Japan. The ideal candidate will be a trusted technical resource and advisor that will foster relationships, create opportunities, and drive revenue as part of a growing team of dedicated sales professionals. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with team members to identify, qualify, manage, and close sales opportunities 
  • Gather customer and partner requirements and influence them to align with company solutions 
  • Design, validate, and document solutions for customers and partners 
  • Deliver effective technical presentations to secure favorable outcomes from various audiences  
  • Author technical materials and peer-reviewed publications for use in sales and marketing activities 
  • Travel to conferences, customers, and partners to present and position company solutions and research 


Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of additional advanced schooling or deep experience 
  • Experience leading the design or deployment of networking solutions for HPC/AI computing systems 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HPC, AI, or HPDA 
  • Experience with data center infrastructure and Linux cluster technologies 
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Experience directly engaging and supporting customers 
  • Candidate must be fluent in spoken and written English.  


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience deploying and operating in research computing environments  
  • Experience with Omni-Path, InfiniBand, or Ethernet 
  • Advanced knowledge of network architecture and optimization 
  • Experience with parallel filesystems and parallel storage systems 
  • Experience benchmarking, profiling, or optimizing application workloads on AI or HPC systems 
  • Experience deploying and operating in cloud computing environments 
  • Experience with system and network security 
  • Experience with GPU computing and accelerator technologies   

 

Location: This is a remote position for employees residing within Japan. 

 

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, performance incentives and equity participation.

At Cornelis Networks, your compensation is only one component of your comprehensive total rewards package. Compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and location relative to the hiring range for the position. 

Depending on your geographic location, in addition to your total rewards package, you may also be eligible for additional benefits, paid holidays, and flexible work arrangements.
