Position: Senior Solutions Engineer ( Pre-sales)

Reporting to: Program Manager, New Businesses and Partnerships

Job Overview:

 

The LigaData Technical Pre-Sales engineers (Solution Team) support sales productivity and deal process by putting together LigaData Products and Services in order to achieve the technical close. Reporting to Head of Solutions, the Senior Solutions Engineer, interfaces with LigaData’s Product Team, Client Unit Directors, Salespersons and Executives to build a comprehensive solution responsible for all aspects of the technical offer.

 

The Solution team will research and understand the prospects’ requirements and match LigaData products and services to create a offer tailored to the specific prospect. The developing the technical proposal and performing estimates for the offer are the responsibility of the Senior Solution Engineer.

 

The Solution Engineer is responsible for achieving a technical deal closure quota set by the Chief Revenue Officer.

 

 Duties & Responsibilities – Senior Solutions Engineer

 

  • Support deals initiating from Sales Persons’ Deal Funnel prioritizing effort based on maximizing team productivity or as directed by the Head of Solutions.
  • Proactively scope the technical solution required to meet prospects’ requirements, assess gaps in LigaData’s offer and work with LigaData technical or support teams to close gaps.
  • Coordinate all LigaData Technical, Financial, and Executive stakeholders to provide a specific offer.
  • The Senior Solution Engineer writes the proposals, provides relevant diagrams and estimates tasks such that Finance can take the man-days estimates and apply pricing.
  • Secure time from LigaData technical resources to reach deal’s technical close.
  • Supervise building and demos relevant to the specific deal’s technical closure.
  • Create, update, and deliver high-quality presentations needed to close deals, including new Pitches, Technical Deep Dives and Defense of Proposals after shortlisting.
  • Be opportunistic in spotting and pursuing sales opportunities during meetings, on-site visits and post sales.

 

 

Skills & Qualifications:

 

  • Over 10 years of Experience.
  • Completion of Undergraduate four-year Degree
  • Superior Written English Skills
  • Ability to organize complex proposals and coordinate technical resources as needed to deliver the proposal. 
  • Strong Presentation Skills with an ability to respond to prospects’ questions on-the-fly
  • Ability to thrive and deliver under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Technical Background in Computer Science or other Engineering Disciplines or Equivalent Work Experience a plus.
