At NiCE, we don’t limit our challenges. We challenge our limits. Always. We’re ambitious. We’re game changers. And we play to win. We set the highest standards and execute beyond them. And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you.
So, what’s the role all about?
A NiCE Senior Solution Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our pre‑sales demonstration environment and for enabling field teams on the processes, tools, and best practices required to use the platform effectively. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales engineering, and enablement, ensuring our demos are stable, current, and aligned to go‑to‑market priorities.
How will you make an impact?
- Own the architecture, configuration, and lifecycle of the central demo environment, including integrations, data sets, and test accounts.
- Build and maintain reusable demo scenarios, sample data, and configurations that showcase key product capabilities for different personas and industries.
- Monitor environment health and resolve issues proactively (performance, access, data refreshes, version drift, integrations).
- Partner with Solution Engineers, AEs, Product, and Marketing to gather requirements and prioritize improvements to the demo platform.
- Document demo workflows, architecture, and configuration; maintain an internal knowledge base and “how‑to” guides for using the demo environment.
- Define and support processes for demo requests, environment access, custom demo builds, and cloning/tearing down tenant environments where applicable.
- Train and enable sales, SEs, and partners on demo best practices, including certifications or checklists to ensure consistent delivery quality.
- Collaborate with Product to align demo updates with product release cadence and ensure new features are reflected quickly in demos.
Have you got what it takes?
- 7+ years in a technical role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, DevOps/Cloud Engineer, or Demo Engineer, ideally in SaaS.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), basic scripting or programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript), and APIs/integrations.
- Strong understanding of web/SaaS architectures, authentication, and common integration patterns (REST, webhooks, iPaaS, etc.).
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success, translating requirements into scalable demo solutions.
- Excellent documentation, organization, and communication skills; able to define and enforce processes in a fast‑moving environment.
Success Criteria:
- Demo environments are reliable, current, and easy for field teams to use.
- Standard demo flows exist for key personas/industries and are widely adopted.
- Clear processes and documentation reduce ad‑hoc demo work and support requests.
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Experience/knowledge of CCaaS, CX, and Conversational AI solutions.
- Experience/knowledge selling a full suite of SaaS products.
- Certifications and knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google)
