THE OPPORTUNITY

Title: Senior Solutions Architect

Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Solutions Architect to join our Commercial - Digital Business Unit team.

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and governing the enterprise software architecture landscape, driving joint innovation, and executing the technical sales function for large-scale, global digital pursuits.

You will join our high-impact Commercial - Digital Business Unit team, a division focused on accelerating North American and global digital transformation through advanced information governance, content management solutions, and cloud-native technology delivery.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Strategic Architecture & Solution Design: Define the enterprise architecture vision and design secure, scalable, end-to-end cloud-native solutions for Document and Enterprise Content Management systems.

  • Technical Sales & Value Modeling: Lead technical sales functions, deliver comprehensive solution demonstrations, manage Proof of Concept developments, and construct rigorous Total Cost of Ownership and Return on Investment models.

  • Technology Governance & Integration: Evaluate and govern document management technologies while architecting secure integration pathways connecting platforms with core enterprise systems like Enterprise Resource Planning and Customer Relationship Management systems.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment: Partner closely with senior, non-technical business stakeholders and technical practitioners to translate strategic objectives into blueprints aligned with enterprise delivery frameworks.

  • Market Intelligence & Technical Assurance: Gather critical industry and competitor insights while overseeing Information Technology technical assurance processes, service configurations, and Statements of Work.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of experience in technical solution design, software, or enterprise architecture, including at least 5 years specifically focused on document management or Enterprise Content Management.

  • Strong knowledge of modern data architecture, information governance, workflow automation, metadata design, and search optimization.

  • Proven expertise in enterprise integration patterns (such as Enterprise Service Buses), cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform), microservices architecture, and Representational State Transfer Application Programming Interfaces.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to present clear architectural concepts to Chief-level executives and Directors.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Preferred: Professional certifications in enterprise frameworks (such as The Open Group Architecture Framework, Scaled Agile Framework, Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework, Information Technology Infrastructure Library, or Project Management Institute) or specialized Cloud Architecture.
