About Mytra:

We’re creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We’re focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e-commerce, sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a “sleepy” industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.

About the role:

Mytra's Solutions team is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our growing team.

This role sits at the heart of how Mytra engages with customers — from initial discovery through contracted deployment. The Senior Solutions Engineer is a technical leader and trusted advisor, connecting prospective customers to the broader Mytra organization and ensuring that what we build and deliver drives maximum value. Reporting directly to the Head of Solutions Engineering, this person will help set the standard for how Solutions operates, raise the quality bar on our designs and analyses, and serve as a force multiplier across deals and customer relationships.

We are customer-first. Our goal is to ensure that Mytra systems provide the maximum benefit to our customers — and that our solutions are grounded in real operational data, sound engineering judgment, and a deep understanding of how our technology performs at scale.

What you’ll do:
  • Lead identification of the best Mytra application within customer operations based on current capabilities and our product roadmap
  • Guide and support customers in providing the data needed for application analysis and simulation input — and push back constructively when inputs are insufficient
  • Analyze customer data sets to define the scope, scale, and optimal rollout approach — from initial deployment through full network expansion
  • Develop detailed warehouse, distribution, and fulfillment operations process flows, system diagrams, and solution briefs that serve as the technical handoff to Product and Engineering
  • Own the development of key business metrics including unit economics, throughput modeling, and customer-specific deployment ROI (IRR, NPV, payback period)
  • Recommend changes to performance specs and system targets in partnership with Engineering and Operations based on real customer constraints
  • Collaborate with the Software team to evolve our simulation tooling and inventory optimization software; interpret and leverage simulation outputs to drive design decisions and build compelling customer value cases
  • Serve as a senior resource to junior Solutions team members — providing technical review, coaching, and modeling strong customer engagement practices
  • Maintain an active pulse on the competitive landscape, benchmarking Mytra against alternatives and informing how we position our solution
  • Travel to customer sites will be up to 25% a month
Ideal Candidates
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, warehouse process flows, layout planning and optimization,
  • 3+ years working with external customers and/or cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience bringing complex hardware/software systems from install through commissioning and full production ramp
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Material flow systems
    • Hardware design
  • Strong cross-functional partnership experience across Sales, Simulation, Product, Engineering, and Customer teams
Nice to have:
  • You have significant experience in supply chain, warehouse automation and robotics, or industrial engineering, and you know how to read a warehouse operation flow and spot where Mytra fits.
  • You're highly comfortable with data interpretation, modeling, and simulation, and you use them to make and defend solution design decisions.
  • You've worked directly with customers, including senior stakeholders, and you're confident leading technical conversations from discovery through close.
  • You can translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for both engineering and business audiences.
  • You thrive in ambiguity. Immature processes and evolving products don't slow you down, you help build the structure others follow.
A Final Note:

If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply — even if you don’t check every box. At Mytra, we build bots, but we hire humans. We value thoughtful challengers who communicate with clarity and respect, and we’re lifelong learners committed to getting better every day. We move fast, learn faster, and show up for each other under pressure. The best outcomes come from diverse perspectives working together to build something meaningful and built to last

Benefits Include:
  • Competitive compensation and equity grants at a high-growth company backed by top-tier VCs
  • Fully subsidized health coverage, including medical (baseline plans), dental, and vision for employees and dependents
  • 401(k) plans and employer-subsidized life insurance
  • Fully subsidized lunch and snacks at HQ—we eat and share stories together at the “long” table
  • Generous PTO and company-paid holidays, including one week over the winter break so everyone can recharge together
  • Voluntary pet insurance, Voluntary Life Insurance, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity
  • Fully subsidized tax advisory services and education to help you understand your equity
  • Commuter benefits, including a up to $150 monthly commuter benefit
  • Lively, modern combined office and lab space where we rapidly iterate through design, build, and test phases
  • Fully equipped onsite gym and showers at headquarters
