We are seeking a Senior Sourcing Lead - Storage & SaaS to join our Global Procurement team, reporting to the Global Strategic Sourcing Lead. This role will serve as the strategic owner of two global categories: storage infrastructure - spanning software-defined storage platforms and supporting large-scale research and trading data environments - and the global SaaS portfolio, including enterprise software, developer tooling, and a rapidly growing set of AI application vendors.
This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure economics and software commercial strategy. On the SaaS side, success means governing a global portfolio of 70+ vendors - renewals, consolidation, license optimization, and the fast-moving commercial models of AI-native software.
This role requires deep domain expertise across storage commercial models - software-defined storage licensing- and SaaS commercial models - subscription, seat-based, consumption-based, and token/usage-based licensing, enterprise renewals, and license optimization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and execute the global storage category strategy: software-defined storage platforms, and associated support and services, across all storage tiers
  • Own and execute the global SaaS category strategy: manage the renewals pipeline, drive license and seat optimization, lead vendor consolidation and rationalization, and govern commercial terms across the software estate - including AI application and developer tooling vendors
  • Lead negotiations for high-value agreements: storage software rate cards and multi-year license structures, media and OEM supply agreements, and enterprise SaaS contracts and renewals, ensuring best-in-class commercial outcomes and risk mitigation
  • Drive FinOps-style governance across consumption- and usage-based software spend, ensuring commitments, discounts, and actual usage stay aligned and renewals are negotiated from a position of data
  • Build and strengthen key vendor relationships across storage software providers, drive and media manufacturers, storage OEMs, and strategic SaaS and AI software providers to maximize long-term value and innovation
  • Partner directly with storage engineering, infrastructure, information security, and finance teams on tiering architecture decisions, capacity planning, vendor risk, and investment business cases
  • Monitor market trends to proactively identify savings and risk
  • Provide coaching and guidance to sourcing managers and buyers on storage and SaaS category execution, embedding best practices across the global team
  • Represent Procurement as a trusted advisor to engineering and business leadership on all storage and software investment decisions
What You Bring
  • 8+ years of strategic sourcing or vendor management experience spanning infrastructure (storage, data platforms) and enterprise software categories
  • Direct experience procuring storage at scale - software-defined storage platforms, enterprise or hyperscale storage hardware
  • Proven track record managing a large SaaS portfolio: complex renewals, multi-year enterprise agreements, license optimization, and vendor consolidation programs
  • Familiarity with modern AI software commercial models (token/usage-based pricing, committed spend structures, seat-plus-consumption hybrids) strongly preferred
  • Experience running or commercially leading technical POCs and structured vendor evaluations alongside engineering teams
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; comfort building normalized cost frameworks and defending them to engineering and finance leadership

Please note that immigration sponsorship is not offered for this specific opening.
