Title and Summary
Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition
Global Talent Acquisition sources, attracts and acquires diverse talent for Executive, Experienced, and Campus segments. Focusing on university partnerships, the Early Career Recruiting Team shapes the future of Mastercard through delivery of initiatives and programs that are designed to pipeline uniquely talented students who will impact Mastercard's long term success.
The Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist will play an integral role on the North America Early Career Talent Acquisition Team. This role will leverage superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Working in partnership across North America and with key business stakeholders, this role will be responsible for:
• Executing on high volume recruitment and hiring with a focus on technical talent segment within Software Engineering.• Attracting and hiring emerging talent through developing and maintaining programs and initiatives with universities and partnerships.• Ensuring representation at recruiting events while growing brand affinity; identifying and collaborating with student organizations and faculty in support of our talent strategy.• Managing a pipeline of interns, direct sourced applicants, and referrals.• Ensuring a consistent, quality end-to-end candidate experience.• Ensuring candidate data integrity is captured in our CRM and ATS accurately.• Planning and implementing internship program in coordination with the global Early Career team.• Ensuring adherence to all HR compliance processes.
Qualified candidates will have strong experience in the following:
• Early Career recruitment, specifically with building and maintaining relationships with schools (includes: career centers, academic departments, university leadership, and student organizations).• Use of data driven insights to provide recommendations to advance strategy and function.• Project management skills with ability to effectively master systems and platforms for the TA function (ATS and CRMs).• Excellent interpersonal skills and presence, ability to present to internal and external audiences.• Passionate about candidate engagement.• Creativity to problem solving, comfortable with taking risks and challenging the status quo.• Implementing and executing with speed and accuracy.
Ideal experiences and personal characteristics include:
• Experience with Workday, Phenom, CodeSignal and Handshake preferred.• Delivers with a high sense of urgency; operating with a strong customer satisfaction approach.• A self-starter who can act as a strong contributor while navigating a complex global organization.• Willingness to travel up to 20% for recruitment events and related activities as needed.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Mastercard benefits for interns generally include: 56 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time; jury duty leave; and on-site fitness facilities in some locations.
