The Role

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Account Director with proven, hands-on experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, someone who will act as a growth architect for INSTANDA's most valuable enterprise accounts. This role is not about incremental renewals: it's about driving transformational revenue impact. The Senior Strategic Account Director will own the commercial strategy for multi-year, multi-million-dollar agreements, expand INSTANDA's footprint across client organisations, and influence C-suite agendas to accelerate digital adoption.

You will be accountable for double-digit annual growth within a portfolio of strategic accounts, proactively creating demand, identifying whitespace opportunities, and shaping client innovation strategies. This is a high-impact role for a commercially driven leader who thrives on influencing senior decision-makers and delivering measurable business outcomes.

This role is fully remote.

What you will do

Revenue Ownership & Growth

  • Deliver double-digit annual revenue growth across strategic accounts, securing multi-year, multi-million-dollar agreements that materially impact INSTANDA’s revenue trajectory.
  • Design and execute transformational account growth strategies that align client digital ambitions with INSTANDA’s platform capabilities, driving enterprise-wide adoption and market share expansion.
  • Identify and convert strategic whitespace opportunities within existing accounts and adjacent business units, unlocking new and significant revenue streams.

C-Suite Engagement & Executive Gravitas

This is where you will truly differentiate. You will engage C-suite and Board-level stakeholders not as a vendor, but as a strategic peer, someone who commands the room, challenges conventional thinking, and earns trust through insight and credibility.

  • Build and sustain trusted, long-term relationships with clients, including C-suite and Board members across client organisations, positioning yourself as a valued advisor.
  • Lead executive presentations, strategic workshops, and quarterly business reviews with authority, articulating ROI, strategic alignment, and innovation roadmaps in language that resonates with stakeholders.
  • Navigate complex organisational hierarchies and stakeholder dynamics with political acuity, influencing decisions at the highest levels and accelerating the client’s digital transformation journey with INSTANDA.
  • Bring a point of view. Challenge client assumptions constructively, introduce new thinking, and shape client innovation agendas in ways that create pull for INSTANDA’s platform.
  • Act as a trusted industry advisor, leveraging deep market knowledge and executive relationships to become embedded in client strategy rather than merely their technology stack.

Market Leadership & Thought Leadership

  • Represent INSTANDA as a credible and compelling thought leader at industry forums, delivering keynote-level insights and shaping market conversations on digital insurance transformation.
  • Strengthen INSTANDA’s brand presence and cultivate a high-value network of industry decision-makers to accelerate strategic partnerships and pipeline development.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Customer Success Managers to align client success plans with commercial strategy, ensuring seamless delivery of outcomes and a unified client experience.
  • Collaborate with Product and Leadership teams to bring client insights and market intelligence into roadmap discussions, directly influencing INSTANDA’s product development priorities.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain rigorous CRM discipline and pipeline management, providing accurate forecasting and transparent reporting to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to INSTANDA’s information security policies, guidelines and best practices to protect our company and our clients.
  • Contribute to a culture of security awareness across the organisation.

Requirements

What we’re looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise account management, business development, or strategic partnerships within insurance (carrier, MGA, or vendor) or B2B SaaS, with a clear track record of operating at senior executive level.
  • Demonstrated executive presence and gravitas: you are credible, composed, and compelling in front of C-suite and Board-level audiences, able to hold the room and drive decisions.
  • Proven track record of driving transformational revenue growth, including ownership of multi-year, multi-million-dollar commercial agreements and complex enterprise negotiations.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills. Able to translate complex technical and commercial propositions into clear, compelling narratives that resonate at the highest organisational levels.
  • Strategic thinking combined with commercial rigour: able to synthesise data, identify opportunities, build a business case, and influence investment decisions.
