Our client builds voice AI agents for call centers, helping thousands of customers support sales, service, and logistics workflows. The company has grown from $5M to $80M ARR in one year and is building an Applied AI function to bring its technology into large enterprise environments.
The role
We are hiring a Senior Strategic Deployment Manager to lead complex enterprise engagements from discovery through deployment and expansion. This is a senior individual-contributor role for a strategic, customer-facing operator who can work with C-suite stakeholders, build a compelling business case, and turn ambiguous opportunities into durable customer outcomes. You will help build a new playbook and function from the ground up.
What you'll do
• Lead enterprise account discovery, define customer problems, and build roadmaps from zero to one.
• Communicate with C-suite stakeholders and create business cases that show clear ROI.
• Own strategic engagements through deployment, adoption, and expansion.
• Work in pods with Forward Deployed Engineers, owning strategy and commercial outcomes while partnering on technical delivery.
• Bring structured customer insight back to product and engineering partners.
• Create repeatable deployment playbooks for the new Applied AI function.


Requirements

What we're looking for
• 2 to 8 years of relevant experience as a senior analyst or consultant at an MBB or Big Four firm, or in a forward-deployed, deployment, strategy, or other strategic customer-facing role at a reputable technology company.
• Experience navigating enterprise accounts, leading discovery, and communicating effectively with executive stakeholders.
• Strong problem solving, product thinking, high ownership, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
• A bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university.
• Willingness to work a 996 schedule: 9 AM to 9 PM, six days per week.
Bonus points
• Experience at a venture-backed startup.
• A computer science or quantitative degree.
• Experience building a new customer-facing function or playbook from scratch.


Benefits

Compensation and benefits
• Base salary of $170K to $260K, with competitive equity.
• 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage.
• $70 per day in DoorDash credit, $200 per month for wellness, and $300 per month for commuting.
• Phone and internet stipends.
Location and work model
• Five days per week onsite in Redwood City, California, or New York City, New York.
• Up to 50% travel to customers.
• Visa sponsorship and visa transfers are available.
