Job Description:

We seek a high-impact, full-cycle Sr. Talent Acquistion Partner to support hiring across multiple functions, including technical, go-to-market, and G&A roles. Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers to drive efficient, high-quality hiring outcomes while delivering a best-in-class candidate experience. You’ll play a critical role in scaling the business by building strong pipelines, advising stakeholders, and continuously improving recruiting processes.

This role is based in Redwood City, CA, with in-office collaboration required at least two days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays).

What You’ll Do
 

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Own end-to-end recruiting for a variety of roles (technical, GTM, and/or corporate functions) 

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring strategies, and interview processes 

  • Source, engage, and close high-quality candidates in a competitive Bay Area market 

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance on talent market trends, compensation, and hiring best practices 

  • Drive alignment on candidate profiles, timelines, and expectations 

  • Influence hiring decisions with data and structured feedback 

Pipeline Development & Sourcing

  • Proactively build diverse, high-quality talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs 

  • Leverage multiple sourcing channels including LinkedIn, referrals, events, and outbound outreach 

  • Engage passive candidates with compelling messaging and storytelling 

Candidate Experience

  • Deliver a seamless, engaging, and inclusive candidate experience from initial outreach through offer 

  • Ensure timely communication, feedback, and process transparency 

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accurate data in ATS and track key recruiting metrics 

  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements 

  • Partner with recruiting ops and People teams to support scalable hiring practices 

Employer Brand

  • Represent Alation externally and help tell our story to prospective candidates 

  • Support employer branding efforts through events, content, and outreach 

Who You Are

  • Experienced Recruiter: 3-5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth tech environment 

  • Versatile Generalist: Proven ability to recruit across multiple functions (engineering, product, sales, G&A) 

  • Strong Partner: Trusted by hiring managers; able to influence, challenge, and guide decisions effectively 

  • Prolific Sourcer: Able to consistently identify and engage passive talent using advanced sourcing techniques across LinkedIn, GitHub, events, referrals, and niche platforms

  • Results-Oriented: Track record of successfully closing roles and managing multiple requisitions simultaneously 

  • Candidate-Focused: Passionate about delivering an exceptional and inclusive candidate experience 

  • Data-Driven: Comfortable using metrics and insights to improve performance and inform decisions 

  • Adaptable & Proactive: Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and takes ownership of outcomes

Compensation Pay Range:

$127,780.00 - $172,503.00

Salary Information

The base salary range is specific to the United States.  The salary of the final candidate selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, work location, specialty and training.  If the final candidate has a different level of experience, the base salary target range may be lower or higher than what is published.

Our office is in a serene location right on the lagoon in Redwood City. Alation HQ has balconies with sweeping views of the lagoon, giving employees a breath of fresh air when needed. Alationauts can take a lunchtime stroll around the grounds and encounter various wildlife or a kayaker paddling by.
