About the Role

Dexterity is seeking an experienced Senior Talent & People Operations Partner to join our People team during an important stage of growth.

The primary focus of this role is Talent Acquisition. You will own full-cycle recruiting for priority roles across engineering, product, operations, customer-facing, and corporate functions, partnering closely with hiring managers to identify, attract, assess, and hire exceptional talent.

We're looking for someone who brings more than recruiting expertise. The ideal candidate has worked in a fast-moving environment where they've also gained practical experience across People Operations and the employee lifecycle. As capacity and business needs allow, you'll help support broader People initiatives and day-to-day HR needs.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes ownership, works independently, and is comfortable moving between recruiting priorities and broader People needs.

What You'll Do

Talent Acquisition – Primary Focus

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for priority roles from intake through offer.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, develop search strategies, assess talent, and drive hiring decisions.
  • Proactively source and build pipelines for technical, specialized, and difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Manage recruiting pipelines, hiring velocity, aging requisitions, offer activity, and other key recruiting metrics.
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Help improve recruiting processes, interview practices, and hiring-manager effectiveness.
  • Partner on workforce planning and upcoming hiring priorities.
  • Support internal mobility and other talent initiatives as needed.

People Operations & HR Support

  • Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, leaves, and offboarding.
  • Respond to routine employee and manager questions related to People programs, policies, benefits, and processes.
  • Support HRIS administration, employee data, reporting, and documentation.
  • Help identify and improve inefficient or manual People processes.
  • Assist with employee relations, performance, and manager-support matters in partnership with the Director, HR Business Partner.
  • Support compensation, performance, talent, and employee-development programs as needed.
  • Assist with immigration coordination and work-authorization tracking in partnership with employees and outside counsel.
  • Partner on other People initiatives based on business priorities and team capacity.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 5+ years of progressive recruiting and/or Human Resources experience, with significant hands-on full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting technical, engineering, product, operations, or other specialized talent.
  • Strong proactive sourcing and pipeline-building capabilities.
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
  • Practical experience with People Operations and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Sound judgment and ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfortable operating in an environment where processes and priorities continue to evolve.

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience in a startup, scale-up, technology, robotics, engineering, manufacturing, or similarly complex organization.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, UKG, Lever, or comparable systems.
  • Exposure to employee relations, performance management, compensation, or talent programs.
  • Experience coordinating employment-based immigration.
  • Experience improving recruiting or People Operations processes and systems.

How You'll Work

We're looking for someone who:

  • Takes ownership and follows through.
  • Can independently manage searches without requiring significant day-to-day direction.
  • Builds strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Is comfortable switching between recruiting and People Operations priorities.
  • Identifies problems and brings forward practical solutions.
  • Can create structure without adding unnecessary process.
  • Thrives in an evolving, fast-moving environment.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you will have:

  • Taken ownership of priority recruiting and helped improve hiring velocity.
  • Built proactive pipelines for critical and difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Established strong partnerships with hiring managers.
  • Improved the consistency and candidate experience of our recruiting process.
  • Become a reliable resource for broader People Operations needs.
  • Taken ownership of recurring People processes and projects that create additional capacity across the team.

Compensation

Base pay is one component of Dexterity's Total Rewards package, which may also include equity, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, and other incentives depending on eligibility.

The annual base salary range for this position is $135,000–$170,000, depending on experience, skills, scope, and overall qualifications.

Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, market factors, and internal equity considerations.
