WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Senior Technical Account Manager owns strategic, anchor advertiser accounts directly, with minimal oversight, deepening our integrations with partners across a dedicated vertical. This individual plays a critical role in translating company initiatives through streamlined technical consulting and operations — someone who understands web technology, learns fast, and is not afraid of complexity.
You are comfortable navigating ambiguity across both client and internal organizations (Client Services, Business Development, Product, and Engineering), and you are an executive-ready communicator who can represent technical tradeoffs to nontechnical senior stakeholders on both sides. You are comfortable leading high-visibility projects and ensuring follow through on client solutions.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Own technical integration planning for a portfolio of strategic advertiser accounts within your vertical, from discovery through delivery
- Consult on clients' technology stacks — including data clean rooms, CDPs, and identity solutions — to identify integration opportunities and drive platform adoption
- Define and build a pipeline of integration projects by distilling business needs and challenges into actionable solutions
- Support platform extensibility work — workflow automation, first-party data integrations, and custom bidding builds
- Advise clients on media data strategy, including upstream data quality decisions that affect integration outcomes
- Act as a subject matter expert on our capabilities and differentiators help the team identify opportunities to solve business needs and drive revenue growth
- Represent the voice of your vertical’s clients in TTD’s platform and API roadmap discussions
- Communicate and collaborate with functional leaders across Commercial and Technical organizations — solving business challenges together, identifying opportunities for growth, and driving efficiency across the org

- Comfortable as a generalist across workstreams, coachable, and action-oriented
- Superior relationship management skills, including the ability to influence and advocate across Commercial and Technical organizations
- Effective decision-making: clearly defines context, stays solution-oriented, and builds advocacy with your leadership team when necessary
- Quickly grasps new technical subjects and explains them to nontechnical stakeholders, with real appetite to go deeper
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Must-Have
- 5+ years of work experience in a technical, client-facing role (solutions engineering, technical account management, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to influence others to drive forward integration plans and client-built solutions
- Experience working with clients, product, and engineering teams, with the ability to break down complex concepts for nontechnical stakeholders
- Strong written communication and demonstrable creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform in a fluid, fast-paced work environment
- Solid understanding of how data works
- Light familiarity with SQL, APIs, and/or ETL
Strong Plus
- Ad tech or digital advertising technology experience
- Cloud data tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Data modeling experience
- Python and command line comfort
- Deeper API knowledge and exposure to real-time systems
- Project/portfolio management experience

In accordance with various US state laws, the range provided is the Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as variable compensation-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
