Role description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Architect with a minimum of 12 years experience to lead the technical design and construction phase delivery of a large-scale bus maintenance and repair facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in industrial and transportation facility design, with a focus on design-build delivery including coordination of complex building systems and stakeholder requirements.

Role accountabilities:

  • Lead Design Development: Oversee construction phase services of architectural design for the bus maintenance and repair building, ensuring functionality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Technical Oversight: Ensure compliance with building codes, transportation regulations, and sustainability standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Construction Support: Provide guidance during construction, addressing RFIs and site issues as they arise.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Professional degree in Architecture; US licensure required.
  • Minimum 12 years’ experience, preferably with industrial, transit, or public infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, large-scale facility projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, industrial workflows, and maintenance facility requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP,  401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement.  We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $129,000- $194,000 . Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
