Technical Architect (Professional Services)Role Overview

As a Technical Architect (TA) within the Professional Services team of the Customer Success division, you will serve as a technical consultant driving digital transformation (DX) for strategic enterprise clients. You will lead projects to success by leveraging high technical capabilities and specialized knowledge of the Salesforce platform in the following capacities:

  • IT Strategy Advisor: Lead upstream phases, including system concept formulation, overall architecture design, PoCs, and requirement definitions.
  • Prime Delivery Leader: Execute and safeguard the technical integrity of Salesforce implementation projects.
  • Technical Leader: Provide cross-functional technical support for client- or partner-led individual/multiple projects.
     
Key Responsibilities
  • Trusted Advisor: Focus on customer success, understand client strategies, and drive projects forward with technical excellence.
  • Architecture & Strategy: Design overall system architecture (external integration, authentication, security, large-scale data processing, mobile utilization, etc.) and establish development strategies.
  • Hands-on Validation: Build prototypes and conduct technical validations for complex requirements.
  • DevOps & Standards: Create development guides and establish frameworks to manage and optimize development/operational processes (e.g., CI/CD).
  • Troubleshooting & QA: Resolve critical technical issues and review major project deliverables to ensure high quality.
  • Governance: Build CoE (Center of Excellence) and DevOps organizations to promote long-term Salesforce utilization.
  • Global Collaboration: Partner with global product development teams and architects to solve complex customer challenges using global best practices.
  • Mentorship: Mentor, support, and develop team members while contributing to the Trailblazer community.

Basic Requirements
  • Delivery Experience: 6 to 12 years of experience in enterprise system development, CRM implementation, or IT consulting.
  • Leadership Experience: Around 5 years of experience demonstrating leadership as an architect, technical leader, or project leader.
  • Technical Foundations: Strong knowledge of general web application development (e.g., Java-based environments) and data modeling.
  • Hands-on Skills: Ability to perform technical tasks firsthand (e.g., configuring cloud services, verifying operations, writing code/scripts).
  • Ownership: Proactive mindset to lead complex projects with a strong sense of ownership and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Exceptional customer communication and facilitation skills.
Preferred Requirements
  • Specialized knowledge in system integration, SSO, large-scale data volume (LDV), and DevOps/Agile processes.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular).
  • Understanding of various Salesforce solutions or experience in large-scale CRM projects.
  • Business-level English communication skills for global collaboration.
  • Salesforce official certifications are a plus.
