Own complex, multi-team technical programs from inception through sustained operation. Partner with engineering leadership on architecture, integrations, dependencies, requirements, delivery forecasting, and operational excellence. Use AI copilots, automation, and analytics to improve planning, backlog refinement, reporting, risk identification, stakeholder communication, and retrospectives. Mentor TPMs on AI-augmented workflows while maintaining appropriate human oversight.

Are you a Technical Program Manager who has delivered complex systems, and rewired how you work around AI while doing it? At arrivia, we are looking for someone who brings both: the technical depth to earn credibility with engineering leadership, and the AI-native working habits to move faster than a traditional TPM ever could.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between product vision and technical execution on multi-team programs with real architectural complexity. You will use AI copilots, automation platforms, and intelligent tooling to accelerate throughput, improve forecasting accuracy, and elevate stakeholder communication. You will own programs long enough to see them scale, not just launch.

What You'll Do

  • Own Complex Programs End to End: Drive multi-team technical programs from inception through delivery and into sustained operation, staying with the work long enough to prove it scales.
  • Technical Depth: Engage substantively with architecture, integrations, and system dependencies. You partner with engineering leadership as a peer, not a scribe.
  • AI-Enhanced Planning: Translate strategic priorities into specifications and risk models, using AI-assisted analysis to identify dependencies and surface blind spots early.
  • Accelerated Backlog Refinement: Work with engineering to decompose requirements into technical stories, using AI to generate acceptance criteria and keep story quality consistent.
  • Predictive Delivery: Manage timelines and quality using AI-powered project analytics for real-time schedule health and early warning on scope creep.
  • Strategic Communication: Use AI summarization to distill complex technical discussions into clear briefings for business units and IT teams.
  • Operational Excellence: Automate routine reporting and dashboards through AI-generated summaries, reserving your time for narrative insight.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive retrospectives using AI to analyze velocity trends and recurring blockers, recommending data-backed process adjustments.
  • Evangelism and Mentorship: Pilot new AI workflows and mentor other TPMs on moving from manual work to AI-augmented processes while maintaining human oversight.

Who You Are

  • Deep Program Experience: 8+ years leading technical programs in cross-functional environments, with demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-team systems. We are looking for depth over breadth, programs you owned for years rather than engagements you rotated through.
  • Technically Substantive: You can speak credibly about system architecture, integration patterns, and technical tradeoffs. Strong understanding of the SDLC, modern CI/CD models, and Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
  • A Builder and Scaler: A track record of building capabilities that lasted and scaled after you delivered them.
  • AI-Fluent: At least 2 years actively integrating AI into your professional workflow, with daily hands-on use of AI copilots such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor. You can configure AI-enhanced workflows in Azure DevOps, Jira, Slack, or Teams.
  • Critical Thinker: You evaluate AI-generated output and know when AI accelerates work versus when it introduces risk.
  • Educated: Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or Business. Master's preferred. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus.
  • Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the emotional intelligence to lead change management around new ways of working.

Benefits & Perks

  • Unlimited PTO
  • Exclusive employee travel rates
  • Travel discounts through arrivia programs
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company participation
