Requirements
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience working directly within engineering teams
  • Experience partnering with product OR program management teams
  • 3+ years of people management experience, managing engineers
  • 3+ years of experience architecture and designing (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related discipline) and/or equivalent professional training & work experience
  • A deep understanding in designing, developing, and operating software at scale (object oriented design and service oriented architecture (SOA))
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux, and programming language like C++, Java, JavaScript, AWS, Cloud, Azure, etc.
  • Experience in program development and steering cloud migration programs such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Extensive experience and proficient understanding of enterprise-level Agile Software Development Lifecycle and program management tools including Confluence, Jira, and Smart-sheet.
  • A proven track-record in meeting deadlines, prioritizing work, maintaining attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Has fun looking after multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment
  • Uncommon customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet daring time lines with optimal solutions
  • Able to meet customer expectations by meeting deadlines, prioritize engineering decisions, focus on details and enjoy autonomy in an always changing and evolving environment
