You will:

  • Own and close the most complex, highest-impact technical searches across Engineering, Product, and Data — including senior, staff, and leadership roles — from kickoff through a signed offer, ensuring every hire strengthens our culture and moves Envoy’s mission forward.

  • Operate as a strategic advisor to executives and senior leaders — shaping org design, leveling, and compensation strategy with market insights, comp data, and competitive intelligence that change hiring decisions, not just inform them.

  • Set the standard for closing at Envoy — architects offer strategies, lead complex compensation and equity conversations, and win competitive, multi-offer situations against top-tier companies.

  • Raise the bar across the recruiting org — design and evolve processes and systems for finding and e, elevate sourcing strategies, and mentor and coach recruiters on sourcing, assessment, and closing craft.

  • Use data to drive decisions at the leadership level — build compelling narratives from recruiting metrics that shape headcount planning, guide investment, and hold hiring teams accountable.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that align hiring priorities with business goals — anticipating talent needs quarters ahead and ensuring strategic execution against them.

You have:

  • 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience for technical roles within high-growth tech companies, including ownership of senior and leadership-level searches; B2B SaaS experience strongly preferred. Agency background a plus.

  • A reputation as an elite closer — a documented track record of winning top technical talent in competitive, multi-offer situations, from senior ICs to engineering leadership, with mastery of offer construction, equity and compensation storytelling, and high-stakes negotiation.

  • Deep fluency in technical roles, skills, and tech stacks — enabling credible, substantive conversations with the most senior candidates, hiring managers, and executives.

  • A track record of cracking the hardest searches — creative sourcing strategies that engage passive, diverse, and hard-to-reach senior talent pools through both traditional and innovative channels.

  • Executive-level relationship management skills — you’re a trusted advisor to hiring managers, cross-functional leaders, the CTO, and the executive team, capable of influencing high-stakes talent decisions with credibility and conviction.

  • Operational excellence at scale — you run a demanding portfolio of searches with precision, forecast accurately, and build metrics and reporting that drive visibility and accountability across the org.

  • A passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience — ensuring every touchpoint, from first outreach to signed offer, reflects Envoy’s people-first culture and high bar for quality.

  • A leader’s mindset without the title — proactive, composed under ambiguity, and quick to set direction; you see around corners, stay two steps ahead, and bring consistency and mentorship to an evolving organization.

  • Tech-savvy and data-oriented, with hands-on mastery of tools like Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, and CoderPad — and a habit of using data, automation, and AI to source smarter, move faster, and out-execute the competition.
