About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Serve as the first dedicated recruiting hire, running hiring from first contact through accepted offer. Start by filling engineering openings, then widen to additional departments, partnering closely with company leaders and keeping the candidate experience considerate and well organized.

What you'll do

- Find and engage prospective hires, creating talent pipelines from the ground up, beginning with engineering and later covering sales, marketing and other teams.

- Run every step of the hiring process, from first outreach through screening, scheduling interviews and securing acceptances.

- Make each candidate feel looked after and informed throughout their journey.

- Work side by side with the founders to shape job profiles and agree on the bar for a strong hire.

- Support basic HR administration, such as drafting offers and refining hiring processes, as the company grows.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- At least 4 years of recruiting experience, ideally filling engineering positions at early-stage companies.

- A track record of hiring successfully at a startup without a famous name or a steady stream of inbound applicants.

- Confidence in reaching out to people who are not actively job hunting, and in starting a talent funnel with no existing pool.

- Experience owning the hiring cycle independently, from outbound search through closing.

- A warm, considerate communication style with candidates and colleagues.

- Willingness to work on-site five days a week.

Bonus points

- Familiarity with modern applicant tracking tools.

- Exposure to hiring during a period of fast company expansion.

- Experience as an agency recruiter placing engineers at startups.
