About Fable
AI-driven threats and human error are today's biggest enterprise security risks. Cybercriminals don't hack systems, they exploit people. Human errors drive 70% of security breaches, making human behavior the primary and growing attack surface. At Fable, we believe that the right tools can convert people from targets to another layer of defense.
Fable is the human risk platform that directly shapes employee behavior. Designed for simplicity and enterprise scale, our agentic platform synthesizes complex employee data, pinpoints risky behaviors, and deploys highly relevant interventions to people automatically, in real time, right where they work.
Backed by Redpoint Ventures and Greylock Partners and founded by early Abnormal Security team members, Fable is solving cybersecurity's biggest challenge in a multi-billion-dollar market. We are experiencing explosive growth - making this a career-defining opportunity to get in early and help shape the future of security.
The Role
We're hiring our first dedicated technical recruiter to own EPD hiring end-to-end as we scale. This role is full-cycle: you'll source, screen, run the process, and close across engineering, product, and design, working closely with hiring managers across the EPD org and holding a high bar for both candidate quality and the experience every person has with Fable.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full-cycle recruiting motion for engineering from sourcing through offer close, expanding into product and design as the role grows
Build and maintain sourcing pipelines that surface candidates before they're actively looking. Utilizing creative outreach, not just LinkedIn InMails
Partner with hiring managers to sharpen role definitions, interview structures, and scorecards so we're evaluating what actually predicts success
Run a tight process that respects candidates' time, moves fast, and leaves everyone with a good impression of Fable.
Own the ATS (Ashby) as the source of truth: pipeline stages, candidate notes, and data cleanliness
Report on pipeline metrics and flag bottlenecks before they become problems; help build recruiting systems that scale
What We're Looking For
4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with meaningful time at fast-growing startups (Series A–C)
A sourcer first - you know how to find people who aren't on the market, write outreach that gets replies, and build pipelines that don't dry up
Track record of running the process autonomously without a large team, dedicated sourcer, or coordinator
High standards for candidate experience
Enough technical fluency to hold your own in conversations about role scope. You can distinguish a frontend generalist from a distributed systems specialist
Strong stakeholder instincts. Hiring managers trust your reads, and you push back when a bar is wrong or a process is broken
Nice-to-Haves
Experience recruiting for security or SaaS companies
Familiarity with Ashby ATS
Prior experience building an EPD recruiting function, not just executing within one
Network of engineering talent in the markets we hire from
Why Join Us?

Total compensation may also include Stock Options, sign-on bonus, and other potential future incentives. Final compensation will be determined by each individual's relevant qualifications, experience, skills, and other factors.
