Decagon’s Talent team partners directly with company leadership to shape org design, define what exceptional looks like, and hire the people who will shape our future. We’re Gen AI-native and constantly pushing the boundaries of how Talent teams operate - moving fast, solving hard problems, and playing a critical role in building a world-class organization.

About the Role

Decagon is rapidly scaling and looking for highly capable Technical Sourcers to fuel this growth. As a Technical Sourcer, you’ll own the top of funnel for our most critical engineering hires and work closely with company leaders to identify, engage, and attract world-class technical talent.

This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for someone who loves finding exceptional engineers, building long-term talent pipelines, and influencing hiring outcomes.

In this role, you will

  • Partner closely with Recruiters and Engineering leaders to build our Engineering teams

  • Own and scale top-of-funnel sourcing for highly technical roles across the company

  • Develop creative, non-traditional sourcing strategies to engage hard-to-reach talent

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with top technical candidates

  • Continuously experiment with new tools, channels, and approaches to improve sourcing effectiveness

  • Operate with a “one team” mindset to help the Talent team meet bold, company-wide hiring goals

Your background looks something like this

  • 6+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting, with deep exposure to engineering roles

  • Proven track record sourcing and engaging top technical talent in highly competitive markets

  • Strong technical curiosity and ability to understand complex engineering profiles

  • Clear, thoughtful communicator who builds trust with candidates and internal partners

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • Bring deep knowledge of the AI / ML / systems engineering talent landscape

  • Have a strong network of senior engineers and technical leaders

  • Use data to diagnose funnel gaps and proactively unblock hiring challenges

  • Have a sharp eye for technical talent and a clear point of view on what differentiates exceptional engineers

Compensation

$140k - $200k + equity
