Bridge Specialty Group is seeking a Senior Underwriting Assistant – Garage to join our growing team in Stockton, CA!  

    

Under guidance of Internal Operations Leader, individual whose primary responsibilities include carrying out direction of underwriting assistant functions to provide support and integrity of underwriting practices. 

 

How You Will Contribute:   

  • Bind and invoice policies as required, reviewing all binding subjectivities have been completed and documented. 

  • Review of applications, quotes, and binders to ensure proper documentation is presented to issue policies accurately. 

  • Ensure that policy inspections are ordered in a timely manner. 

  • Process and invoice both monetary and non-monetary endorsements in carrier portals and agency management systems. Provide Endorsement and Invoice to carrier partners and clients in a timely manner, timeline provided within SOP. 

  • Invoicing audit endorsements. Review audit disputes and submit to carrier as needed, corresponding with agent for discrepancies. 

  • Review policy inspections to ensure underwriting integrity and classification of accuracy and adherence to company underwriting guidelines. 

 

Licenses and Certifications:    

  • P&C State Licensed (preferred). 

 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:  

  • Minimum Education required; HS diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Proficient with MS Office. 

  • Exceptional telephone demeanor. 

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a similar administrative support position. 

Preferred 

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline. 

  • Experience supporting Garage (auto repair, dealerships, parking facilities) accounts.

Pay Range

$23.00 - $32.00 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
