  • Provide technical guidance on in-game camera systems, replay functionality, and capture tools during game development
  • Coordinate with video editors, motion graphics artists, and creative teams to ensure captured footage meets post-production requirements
  • Stay current on Unity features, capture technologies, recording tools, and industry best practices for gameplay presentation
  • Build and maintain a library of high-quality gameplay assets for rapid deployment across marketing initiatives
  • QA and troubleshoot technical issues related to capture quality, performance, and visual fidelity

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience capturing gameplay footage for trailers and other marquee, public facing video assets, with at least 3 years working directly in Unity
  • Expert knowledge of Unity Editor, including camera systems, Timeline, Cinemachine, and scene manipulation
  • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, and cinematic principles
  • Proficiency with capture software (OBS, Shadowplay, etc.) and video editing tools (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and frame compelling gameplay moments that resonate with target audiences
  • Experience working across multiple game genres and understanding what makes each visually distinctive
  • Technical knowledge of video codecs, compression, frame rates, and delivery specifications for various platforms
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to translate creative direction into executed capture plans
  • Portfolio demonstrating high-quality gameplay capture work, preferably including Unity projects
  • Self-directed work style with excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Understanding of current gaming and social media trends, particularly how gameplay content performs across channels
