We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, POM Product Manager to join our Wealth Services Platform team. We especially welcome Product professionals with background in portfolio management, trading, or wealth services. This role is located in New York, NY or Jersey City, NJ.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Full ownership of the product backlog and near-term roadmap ensuring that it is properly refined, prioritized, and groomed.
  • Agile Ceremony Ownership across POD, including tracking velocity and identifying efficiencies for teams.
  • Ownership of user stories, refinement process, and stakeholder management through ongoing collaboration and updates.
  • Ownership of technical design decisions, product performance monitoring, and tracking and analyzing key product metrics.


To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:  

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 8-10+ years of product experience with expertise in creating strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Experience in the financial industry preferred.
  • Proven experience building and launching products from ideation through launch and revision.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in agile methodologies, including working with multiple scrum teams on simultaneous builds.
  • Experience managing daily technical and design direction.
  • Experience working with a Wealth Service Platform, Portfolio Management, and/or Trading.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $104,000 and $228,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short- and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
