Senior Web Developer and SEO Lead

We’re looking for a Senior Web Developer & SEO Lead to take full, end-to-end ownership of every facet of SEO for trykintsugi.com — technical SEO, on-page and off-page SEO, content strategy, backlinks, and internal linking — alongside hands-on development. This is a hybrid role: you’ll be equally comfortable shipping React/Tailwind components in our Node.js + Vercel stack and running the full SEO program across our 700+ page site.

You’ll own our content strategy, backlink program, and internal linking architecture, as well as the site’s technical performance — Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexation, and structured data. You’ll also partner closely with Marketing, Content, and Design stakeholders to plan and ship new pages, campaigns, and design refreshes without ever losing sight of SEO impact. This is a role for someone who thinks like an engineer and an SEO strategist at once — someone who can diagnose a ranking drop in Search Console and ship the fix themselves.

We expect this role to utilize AI tooling to move fast and work effectively and efficiently — from AI-assisted coding and content workflows to AI-driven SEO research and reporting — and you’ll have access to industry-leading AI tools to support execution across development, content, and SEO.

• Own all facets of SEO and organic traffic performance across trykintsugi.com — technical SEO, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, content strategy, backlinks, internal linking, and emerging AI/AEO search behavior.

• Lead content strategy: partner with Marketing and subject-matter experts to plan, prioritize, and structure new content that grows organic traffic and answers real search intent.

• Own the backlink strategy: build and run a proactive backlink acquisition and outreach program to strengthen domain authority.

• Own the internal linking strategy: design and maintain a linking architecture that supports crawlability, topical authority, and conversion across 700+ pages.

• Own the site’s technical performance: Core Web Vitals, page speed, crawl budget, indexation, and structured data/schema.

• Build and ship new pages, components, and templates in our Node.js/Vercel/React/Tailwind stack, working within our native MDX-based CMS content structure.

• Work with stakeholders across Marketing, Design, and Product to develop new content and deploy new designs without regressing SEO performance.

• Monitor, report on, and continuously improve organic search performance using tools like Google Search Console, Semrush, and Google Tag Manager.

• Leverage industry-leading AI tools throughout your workflow — coding, content drafting, SEO research, and reporting — to move faster and work more effectively and efficiently than a traditional workflow allows.

• Proven, hands-on experience owning all facets of SEO — technical, on-page, off-page, content, backlinks, and internal linking — for a site of meaningful scale (700+ pages or comparable).

• Strong front-end development skills with React, TailwindCSS, and Node.js; comfortable working in a Vercel-hosted, MDX-based CMS content structure.

• Deep working knowledge of technical SEO: crawlability, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and page speed optimization.

• Demonstrated experience building content strategy, backlink programs, and internal linking architecture.

• Familiarity with AI-driven search behavior and answer-engine optimization (AEO) alongside traditional SEO.

• Proficiency with SEO and analytics tooling: Google Search Console, Semrush (or similar), GA4.

• A track record of using AI tools to work faster and more efficiently — AI-assisted coding, content, or SEO research tools — and genuine enthusiasm for adopting new AI tooling as it emerges.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — comfortable working directly with Marketing, Design, and Content stakeholders to plan and ship work.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred; demonstrable domain knowledge backed by evidence and experience will be strongly considered in place of a degree.

• Experience with headless or MDX-based CMS content workflows.

• Experience with Posthog, GA4 or similar analytics platforms.

• Prior experience in fintech, compliance-focused domains, or Series B+ startup environments.
