The Senior Software Engineer at Zuora will manage project lifecycles, improve code architecture, produce documentation, and collaborate on technical designs. They will ensure secure implementations and utilize various technologies.
Zuora, Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer to:
- Maintain responsibility for the entire lifecycle of projects for applications including design, development, and deployment.
- Improve code structure and architecture in service of testability and maintainability.
- Write, co-write, and review technical design documentation.
- Participate in cross-team design reviews and provide technical oversight to improve execution and system security.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to break down business requirements into clean, maintainable technical designs.
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or Systems, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience as a Software Engineer, or a related occupation.
Experience must include 5 years of experience with each of the following:
- Developing software based on Java based applications.
- Databases including MySQl.
- Redis, Kafka, and ElasticSearch.
- Ensuring implementation of secure applications including data security.
- Automating Testing frameworks using Junit, Mockito.
- Automating workflows using Jenkins.
- AWS technologies.
Job Location: Foster City, CA (Within the same MSA / Commuting distance of Redwood City, CA)
Rate of Pay: $213,512.00 - $247,200.00 per year
