Title: ServiceNow Global Solution Architect

Job Location: 2535 Augustine Drive, 2nd Floor, Santa Clara, CA 95054

Duties: Lead the solution, design, development, testing, and deployment of ServiceNow modules in compliance with required system processes and procedures, working with other team members and partners across the organization as needed. Provide functional expertise; act as product advocate to lead implementation of ITIL processes within ServiceNow platform. Assume full ownership of solution and manage small to mid-size project from planning for the project including resourcing, driving implementation including solution design, development, testing and handing over to the support teams. Assist in development of project estimates, contribute to defining project timelines, project plans and milestones. Instruct, assign, review the work of other team members, including the review of high-level designs, detail designs, code, and test plans and results. Apply expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), IT Service Management (ITSM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).  Define the solutions and realize architecture blueprint into solution components with a focus on business benefit/value. Define architect strategy and patterns commonly used within ServiceNow. Work with the process owners to understand detailed requirements and be responsible for design, implementation, test and delivery of high-quality products to our users. Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite. Implement IT Service Management, Enterprise Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management, working with Flow Designer, UI Builder, IT Service Management configuration/customization, and Executive Dashboard. Investigate and resolve technical issues, providing expert guidance to team members to ensure smooth project delivery, issue resolution. Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to frame, structure, and prioritize business data needs. Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the team. Code review and mentor and coach other team members, facilitate individual team member development of technical, functional, and industry skills. Deliver projects consistently, on schedule, and on budget. Proactively manage issues and risks and have a well-defined plan towards resolution/mitigation. Ensure delivered solutions meet/perform to technical and functional requirements. Work with the process owners and business subject matter experts, managing enterprise data analytics solutions, process improvements, and building creative solutions. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Enterprise Applications and will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team tasked with global digital and business transformation efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field plus 9 years of experience as an architect on ServiceNow platform or related experience OR a Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field plus 7 years of experience as an architect on ServiceNow platform or related experience.

Skills required: Technical Expertise with ServiceNow modules, in IT Operations Management, Integrated Risk Management, Third Party Risk Management, Human Resources Service Delivery, Software Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management, IT Service Management and Configuration Management Database to architect solutions that address complex challenges. Demonstrated knowledge of Configuration Management Database. Experience in ServiceNow Catalog Service with Flow Designer, UI Builder, IT Service Management configuration/customization. Experience in Software architecture and design experience. Demonstrated knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, XML, CSS, HTML, and REST APIs. Experience in development of Scoped applications and Custom APIs for External Systems, Integration Hub, Service Graph Connector implementation. Demonstrated knowledge of databases, tables, attributes, and relationships. Experience managing stakeholders, and working with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, network, information security, enterprise applications, and business users. Release Upgrade Life Cycle Management experience. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

For California only (as required by California’s Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act (SB 1162): A good faith estimate of the expected salary for this position in our California office salary range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire is $190,819 - $250,950 . Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi America’s variable pay program, subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
