Location: San Francisco (In office 5 days a week)

Campfire is building the future of enterprise finance, a modern accounting platform with the power of NetSuite and the ease of QuickBooks. Our reimagined general ledger automates revenue reporting, prepayments, and multi-entity consolidation. Our latest AI functionality, Ember AI, empowers finance teams to draft flux analysis, monthly reporting, and more.

You'll join a small, high-impact team that moves fast, thinks creatively, and cares deeply about doing great work. We offer the freedom to experiment, the support to grow, and the chance to make a real impact on how businesses understand and manage their financial data.

About the Role

Campfire is looking for a Social Lead to own and scale our trust-based growth across social platforms. You'll be responsible for turning executive storytelling, strategic partnerships, and community engagement into measurable inbound and referral-driven MQLs.

This role is perfect for someone who's equally comfortable on camera and behind the strategy -a creator who understands the mechanics of social growth and knows how to turn a team into a content distribution engine.

What You'll Do

Own our social media strategy and execution across key platforms:

  • LinkedIn (primary focus: both brand and executive accounts)

  • YouTube (secondary: build from the ground up)

  • Instagram and X (tertiary support)

Drive measurable growth:

  • 10x our brand presence on LinkedIn with a focus on video-first content

  • Grow executive-led LinkedIn accounts (extending beyond our founder's account)

  • Build and own our YouTube channel strategy and content pipeline

  • Transform our team into a content distribution system where multiple voices amplify our message

Turn storytelling into pipeline:

  • Leverage our community programs to drive credibility, referrals, and pipeline

  • Collaborate with partnerships and product marketing to create content that converts

  • Use data and insights to optimize content formats, messaging, and distribution for maximum impact

Execute with creativity and speed:

  • Produce engaging social shorts and video content

  • Experiment with formats, test what resonates, and double down on what works

  • Maintain a full social media calendar that balances brand building with demand generation

Who You Are

Must-haves:

  • Comfortable on camera creating social shorts and video content

  • Proven track record of growing LinkedIn or YouTube accounts—please point to specific results (follower growth, impression growth, pipeline created) and explain what you were personally responsible for across content production and distribution

  • Strategic yet hands-on—you can set the vision and execute it yourself

  • Data-driven with strong instincts for what content will resonate

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience growing founder-led or executive social presence at a B2B company

  • Background as a content creator or experience building a viral YouTube account

  • Clear ideas for turning an entire organization into a content engine

  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software storytelling

  • Experience with Notion

Success Metrics

Within your first quarters, you'll be measured on:

  • Inbound LinkedIn leads quarter-over-quarter

  • Referral and word-of-mouth MQLs quarter-over-quarter

  • Sustained, measurable growth on founder and brand accounts

  • Community programs driving tangible credibility, referrals, and pipeline

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
