What You Will Be Doing

We’re looking for a modern social media and content manager who understands how to build pipeline and define category leadership through smart, credible, and engaging content.
This role is equal parts social media strategy, content capture, corporate storytelling and technical communication.
You’ll be the boots-on-the-ground content lead working closely with leadership, internal teams, and our creative/social agency partners to help bring the brand to life across platforms.
The ideal candidate knows what makes great social content, understands how to capture strong moments in real time and ensures that content performs in a tangible way.
This person should be highly collaborative, socially fluent, and capable of delivering in a highly technical, B2B-centric organization.

What You Will Bring to ChargePointLead Social Media & Content Initiatives
  • Ideate and execute the company’s social media presence across platforms
  • Collaborate on content calendars, campaign concepts, and platform strategy
  • Identify content opportunities tied to company culture, products, leadership, customers, and industry trends
  • Help shape messaging that balances brand, corporate communication, and technical credibility
Capture Real-Time Content
  • Serve as the primary in-office content capture lead at ChargePoint’s headquarters
  • Capture video, photos, interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, product demos, office culture, and executive content
  • Work directly with internal stakeholders to gather content efficiently and professionally
  • Coordinate with creative partners to ensure captured content aligns with campaign goals and platform needs
Collaborate With Creative & Social Agency Partners
  • Work closely with our creative agency and social media partners who support with editing, design, distribution and strategic execution
  • Ensure creative and agency teams accurately represent technical and contextual information in the content they produce
Amplify Technical & Corporate Communications
  • Help translate technical concepts into social content that is clear, engaging and understandable
  • Ensure content remains accurate and aligned with technical realities
  • Act as a bridge between PMM and corporate communication teams
  • Contribute to thought leadership, product storytelling, and executive brand content
  • Support Internal Communication Activity Including Townhalls
Leverage Data to Improve Performance
  • Monitor content performance and audience engagement
  • Help identify what messaging and formats resonate most effectively
  • Support reporting, analytics, and performance optimization efforts
  • Maintain a strong understanding of social trends, platform behavior, and digital engagement metrics. Translate this knowledge into the business impact

  • Think strategically while also being highly execution-oriented
  • Are organized, adaptable, collaborative, and proactive
  • Have experience supporting executive personal brands or corporate social strategy

You’ll work alongside experienced creative and social partners who help execute editing, production, and distribution — while you help drive the quality, direction, authenticity, and effectiveness of the content itself.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Preferred 5-10 years of social media experience, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Expert-level knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
  • Passion for eMobility
  • Ability to simply and effectively communicate deep technical concepts
  • Strong copywriting skills; ability to write compelling on-brand copy at pace
  • Strong AV direction and production capability
  • High attention to detail. The ability to execute precisely while managing multiple priorities
  • World-class project management skills
  • Track record of growing audiences organically and driving social media engagement
  • A strong ability to provide clear creative direction
  • Ability to leverage data to inform creative and copy
Location

Campbell, CA

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $112,500 to $170,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
