About Middesk

Middesk makes it easier for businesses to work together. Since 2018, we’ve been transforming business identity verification, replacing slow, manual processes with seamless access to complete, up-to-date data. Our platform helps companies across industries confidently verify business identities, onboard customers faster, and reduce risk at every stage of the customer lifecycle.

Middesk came out of Y Combinator, is backed by Sequoia Capital and Accel Partners, and was recently named to Forbes Fintech 50 List and cited as an industry leader in business verification by digital identity strategy firm, Liminal.

About the Role

Middesk is building the infrastructure layer for business identity, risk, and compliance. How we show up in public matters.

This role owns Middesk’s organic social presence as a distribution and credibility engine. You’ll shape how product, risk, fraud, and operations leaders encounter Middesk before they ever talk to sales. That means turning our data, product progress, and point of view into social-native content that earns attention, trust, and participation.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong taste and judgment. You’ll decide what’s worth saying, where to say it, and when silence is the smarter move. Your work ensures Middesk isn’t just visible, it’s respected.

What You’ll Do
  • Own Middesk’s organic social presence end to end, with a primary focus on LinkedIn, X, Reddit, and emerging technical communities.

  • Define the role each channel plays across awareness, validation, amplification, and conversion support, and hold a high bar for what’s worth posting.

  • Create and publish social-native content (short-form video, threads, carousels, commentary) that drives meaningful engagement, not just impressions.

  • Run fast, lightweight experiments on hooks, formats, cadence, and distribution; build repeatable formats from what works and quickly drop what doesn’t.

  • Partner closely with Brand, Product Marketing, and Storytelling to translate flagship assets (data reports, product moments, customer stories) into social content that travels further.

  • Shape and support executive social presence, especially on LinkedIn, through theme development, drafting, editing, and ghostwriting that sounds credible and human.

  • Stay close to conversations in fintech, fraud, compliance, and B2B infrastructure; engage selectively and surface patterns, objections, and emerging narratives back to internal teams.

  • Measure success beyond vanity metrics: growth in engaged followers within our target audience, quality of conversation, and clear top- and mid-funnel signal via UTMs, attribution, and sales feedback.

Who We’re Looking For
  • 6+ years experience in social, content, or brand roles, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, or adjacent technical industries.

  • A social-native thinker who understands how relevance, credibility, and momentum are built.

  • Strong writing instincts and comfort publishing ideas under your own judgment.

  • Opinionated with good taste; you know when to push, refine, or pause.

  • Curious and pattern-driven, with the ability to turn signals into insight.

  • Comfortable creating or directing short-form video and collaborating closely with designers.

  • Data-literate and outcome-oriented, using metrics to sharpen judgment rather than dictate it.

  • Self-directed and confident partnering cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment.
