Who we are

Neros is a defense technology company building America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale. Our team culture is fast, hands-on, and obsessed with closing the gap between design and deployment.

As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems America and its allies needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter future conflicts, or else win them. We’re building a lean Marketing organization of creatives and operators who want to move fast, take extreme ownership, build a brand from the ground up, and tell the Neros story.

What you will be doing

Sitting within the Marketing organization, Neros’ Social Media Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of Neros’ social channels from strategy and storytelling ideation through to creative review cycles, layout, asset selection, writing, and publication. This role blends strategic roadmapping with tight execution, including channel planning across Neros’ diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own and operate Neros’ social media channels end-to-end: strategy, planning, creative review, publication, and performance analysis
  • Tailor social strategy, formats, and messaging to a diverse set of target audiences (future talent, gov’t procurement, policymakers, military operators, and general public)
  • Maintain the social roadmap and publication calendar
  • Work with channel partners to integrate social tactics into broader integrated marketing campaigns
  • Synthesize social data and trend analysis into recommendations that enhance future social initiatives
  • Manage engagement across social platforms (DM, comment, etc.)

You should have the following

  • 3-5 years experience in social media management, preferably in defense, aerospace, robotics, or similarly hardware-oriented industries
  • Demonstrated ability to own social media strategy planning
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a social media calendar, as well as all aspects of creative reviews
  • Demonstrated ability to own execution of publishing, including asset selection, layout, and caption writing
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize and build recommendations from social listening and trend analysis tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Deep familiarity with social platforms, as well as popular social media management tools (Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Khoros, etc.)

US Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.

We’re an equal opportunity employer. We welcome all applicants without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
