Role

We're looking for a Social Media Strategist who combines deep platform expertise with strong creative instincts and a proven track record of growing brands through social. This is a highly hands-on role: you will conceptualize, shoot, edit, and publish content across Instagram, YouTube, and other channels, translating Gantri's design point of view into compelling, native social storytelling.

You'll own the day-to-day execution of Gantri's social presence, working closely with the broader team to develop content, test new ideas, and use performance data to continuously improve what we make. We're looking for someone who can move quickly, make great content independently, and understands how to turn social execution into meaningful brand growth.

This role will report to our Head of Brand. The ideal candidate is mid-career, has scaled social presence for a brand and understands how to translate design-driven aesthetics into native platform storytelling. This person will be responsible for driving social media growth independently—from strategy and content development to execution and optimization.

What You'll Do

  • Own and drive the social media strategy across Instagram (Reels, Stories, Posts), YouTube, and others over time
  • Lead content conceptualizations and production — shooting, editing, and publishing high-quality short-form video independently
  • Set the creative direction for the channel, maintaining a consistent, premium visual and tonal point of view
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, formats, audio, and best practices — and translate them into on-brand executions
  • Build and manage content calendars, ensuring consistent publishing cadence and campaign alignment
  • Lead community management strategy and own brand voice in social engagement
  • Own performance reporting — tracking views, engagement, saves, shares — and use data to iterate and improve
  • Partner closely with brand, design, and marketing teams to lead social support for product launches and campaigns

Required Experience

  • 6+ years of experience creating and leading social media content for brands or agencies
  • Demonstrated track record of growing social audiences and driving engagement for a lifestyle, design, or consumer brand
  • Deep expertise in Instagram, with strong instincts for what performs natively on each platform
  • Advanced video editing and production skills; proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or equivalent tools
  • Strong visual taste with a refined eye for composition, lighting, pacing, and brand consistency
  • Experience owning content strategy end-to-end, from ideation through performance analysis
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence creative direction
  • Excellent written communication skills for captions, briefs, and internal stakeholder updates

Preferred Experience

  • Photography or videography background with a professional portfolio
  • Experience working with premium design, home decor, interiors, or lifestyle brands
  • Proficiency with social analytics platforms (Sprout Social, Later, native insights tools, etc.)
  • Comfortability across social platforms: Instagram & Youtube experience are required (TikTok is a plus, but is not required)
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior creatives or content producers
  • Comfort capturing content across diverse environments — studio, events, retail, and on-location

Why Gantri?

  • Be part of a company reimagining how design meets manufacturing.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the building blocks of Gantri products.
  • Drive innovation on our next-generation digital manufacturing platform.
  • Advance sustainable design practices in real-world production.
  • Work in a fast-growing, design-driven environment.
  • Bring visionary concepts to life at scale.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity options
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Paid time off and flexible vacation policy
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Professional development opportunities and learning stipend
  • Collaborative, creative, and sustainability-focused work environment
  • Access to Gantri-designed products and innovation initiative
