Help Build the Application Transformation Layer for all Salesforce Applications
This is not just a role; it's a chance to work at the intersection of AI + Data + CRM.

Position Overview
As an AI Applications Engineer (MTS) specializing in modern AI tools (e.g. LangChain), you'll contribute directly to building and optimizing solutions for a diverse portfolio of high-impact enterprise use cases — like moving entire customizations from one stack to another.

You'll help develop solutions that transform how organizations leverage AI in their critical workflows, working alongside senior engineers on backend engineering and AI tooling to help extract the maximum potential from LLMs.

You'll join interdisciplinary teams to help integrate these AI technologies into the Salesforce product ecosystem, collaborating with Application teams to bring their ideas to life and building tooling that accelerates their success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AI Application development

  • Use tools such as LangChain to creatively and resourcefully tackle problems, maintaining an open-minded approach to implementation.

  • Solid grasp of full-stack development concepts (data modeling, business logic, UI).

  • Problem Solving and Communication

  • Help translate business requirements into viable AI solutions and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver results.

  • Ability to communicate and execute with geographically distributed teams.

  • Comfort in a fast-paced technical environment with changing priorities.

  • Ability to ship incremental improvements across multiple versions.

  • Be a proactive self-starter.

Technical Skills:
  • Working knowledge of LLMs & AI application frameworks (e.g. LangChain).

  • 1-3 years of professional software development experience.

  • Proficiency in Python and Java.

  • Exposure to REST-based API development, API lifecycle management, and/or client SDK development.

  • Understanding of both relational and non-relational databases.

  • Experience with developer tools such as Git and Jenkins.

  • Familiarity with REST fundamentals.

  • Working knowledge of building B2B or B2C SaaS applications using cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.

  • General knowledge of web standards relating to APIs such as REST, SOAP, XML, WSDL, HTTP, JSON, etc.

  • Exposure to Spring, gRPC, REST and the HTTP protocol.

  • Experience with Agile development methodology.

  • Ability to manage small project workstreams — scoping tasks, tracking progress, and coordinating deliverables with cross-functional partners.

  • Participate in the team's on-call rotation to help address problems and keep services operational.

  • Office-Flex: work in-person three days per week.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Python and popular AI application frameworks like LangChain.

  • Some prior exposure to building AI solutions for enterprise software or SaaS platforms.

  • Exposure to project management practices (e.g. sprint planning, backlog grooming, tracking tools like Jira) and basic product management skills — helping define requirements, prioritize features, or gather stakeholder feedback.

  • Experience contributing to customer adoption initiatives — e.g. supporting onboarding, gathering usage feedback, or helping drive feature adoption with internal or external customers.
