As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. Since 2011, our mission hasn’t changed — we’re here to stop breaches, and we’ve redefined modern security with the world’s most advanced AI-native platform. We work on large scale distributed systems, processing almost 3 trillion events per day and this traffic is growing daily. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We’re also a mission-driven company. We cultivate a culture that gives every CrowdStriker both the flexibility and autonomy to own their careers. We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.

About the Role:

As a Front End Engineer III at CrowdStrike, you’ll work with a talented and dedicated team to build and maintain the user interface for the Falcon platform. You will provide a high quality user experience that our customers around the world use 24/7 to protect their systems from the most sophisticated adversaries.

On the policy management team, you’ll own the policy framework that powers endpoint sensor configuration across the Falcon platform. This is the foundational infrastructure that multiple product teams depend on to deliver their own security features. You’ll also collaborate closely with other front end engineers, cloud engineers, product management, and SDETs, building reusable policy pages and components that other teams integrate into their workflows. Your work will directly enable teams across CrowdStrike to deliver configurable, policy-driven security features to customers.

You’ll work primarily with Ember and Web Components, but if you have used React, Angular, or Vue.js, you will feel right at home. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to interact and influence cross-functional teams across the company, driving alignment on shared infrastructure and helping product teams successfully integrate the policy framework into their solutions.

Location:

  • This is a hybrid role based out of either our office in Sunnyvale, CA or Redmond, WA with an expectation of being in the office twice a week.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own features from design to delivery, including writing automated tests and participating in code reviews for your own work and that of your peers.

  • Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in accessibility, performance, and scalable component architecture.

  • Take initiative to build tools and identify improvements that enhance team productivity and developer experience.

  • Use AI extensively to leverage your talents and accelerate our processes.

  • Impact product roadmap and technical architecture through active participation in planning and reviews.

  • Deliver and accept feedback with grace and courtesy.

  • CrowdStrike is a distributed company, but we do get together from time to time. Some travel will be required for in-person meetings.

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years of experience building features for a web application.

  • A good understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and experience building web application user interfaces with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.

  • Strong web development fundamentals, starting with HTML & CSS skills.

  • Experience with testing frameworks, tools and methodologies such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.

  • Experience and a level of comfort with using AI tools as part of development processes.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

  • Experience with graphics & visualization tools such as D3 or ThreeJS.

  • Familiarity with client-side build processes and tools (e.g. Ember CLI, Webpack, etc.).

  • Experience creating or contributing to open source projects.

  • Familiarity with websocket and real-time web services.

  • Experience with UI performance measurement and optimization.

  • Experience with web accessibility testing and support.
