Sprig is on a path to build a world-class product experience platform that empowers the best businesses to truly understand how their users experience their products at scale. The Core team owns the end-to-end experience for building studies and deploying them across our customers’ applications via an installable client-side SDK.

Our full-stack engineers are responsible for architecting and building features across a JavaScript SDK client, the APIs that average thousands of requests per second, and the intuitive UI for building studies for our customers. You will coordinate web application releases and SDK versions across multiple platforms while prioritizing the developer experience for the thousands of devs who use them.

This is a hybrid role with three days working in our downtown San Francisco office, which is just a short walking distance from the Montgomery BART station.

• Build and evolve the core study creation experience, enabling product teams to design, target, and launch research directly within their products, with speed and confidence

• Own the reliability and performance of the systems that deliver Sprig studies to millions of end users worldwide, ensuring insights are captured accurately and at scale

• Improve the quality and responsiveness of the Sprig dashboard, making it easier for customers to act on their research findings quickly

• Contribute to product roadmap discussions, bringing an engineering perspective to decisions that shape how Sprig grows and evolves

• Champion engineering excellence across the team, staying current with industry best practices and offering guidance and mentorship to cross-functional colleagues

• Minimum 2+ years of experience

• Extensive experience deploying React production apps that are customer-facing and critical to the business

• Proven track record of writing high-quality software that has been deployed to production, following software development best practices

• Experience in diagnosing and fixing performance bottlenecks with instrumentation

• Passion for learning, building, and moving fast. We highly value your ability and appetite for learning

• Has been a technical mentor for teams in the past, where they have helped other team members be successful, and has the desire to continue doing so

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document and explain the technical work that has been done

• Experience with some of the technologies we use is desirable. Sprig's infrastructure runs on AWS and is built with React, Node.js, ClickHouse, and Postgres

The salary range for this full-time position is $150,000- $230,000 + Equity + Benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all locations (San Francisco, CA; New York, NY). Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
