As a Software Engineer III, you will play a critical role in designing and building scalable backend systems that power 6sense’s next-generation AI-driven platform. You will work closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to build high-performance services, contribute to architectural decisions, and solve complex technical challenges.
You will be responsible for developing robust backend applications, designing scalable APIs, and contributing to distributed systems that support enterprise-scale customers.
What will you own:- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
- Build robust, reliable, and production-grade applications.
- Contribute to the architecture and development of services, frameworks, and distributed systems.
- Drive technical solutions and participate in system design discussions.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Identify opportunities for improving system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- 4+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend development focus.
- Strong programming experience in Python and/or Java.
- Experience building scalable APIs and backend systems.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable technical solutions.
- Experience contributing to system design and architectural decisions.
- Exposure to Golang and TypeScript.
- Experience working in high-growth SaaS environments.
- Experience with data platforms, analytics systems, or large-scale data processing environments.
- Familiarity with building AI/ML-enabled products or platforms.
- Delivering scalable and reliable backend solutions that support business growth.
- Driving technical excellence through strong engineering practices and thoughtful design decisions.
- Successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features.
- Improving system performance, scalability, and reliability across services.
- Becoming a trusted technical contributor who helps shape the future of 6sense’s platform.
Base Salary Range: $147,918.75 - $216,947.50. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience. The base salary is one component of 6sense’s total compensation package for this position. Other compensation may include a bonus program or commission plan, and stock options if approved by 6sense’s board. In addition, 6sense provides a variety of benefits, including generous health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, self-care days, and paid time off (PTO). #Li-remote
