Design and build Kubernetes Operators in Go to automate Dynatrace platform installation, configuration, upgrades, and operations. Own the developer and operator experience, integrate components across engineering teams, and improve reliability, observability, resilience, automated recovery, and safe rollouts. Apply cloud-native engineering practices and AI-assisted observability to enable scalable, autonomous platform operations.
Your role at Dynatrace
- You will design and build Kubernetes Operators in Go that automate the full lifecycle of the Dynatrace platform - covering installation, configuration, upgrades, and ongoing operations - enabling a fully self-service and hands-off experience for users.
- You will own the end-to-end developer and operator experience, ensuring that running Dynatrace in Kubernetes environments is simple, reliable, and consistent across diverse customer setups.
- You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams across Dynatrace to integrate their components into a unified, automation-first platform model, ensuring every part of the system can be deployed and operated without manual intervention.
- You will leverage AI-assisted engineering and observability insights to enable more autonomous, adaptive, and self-optimizing platform operations.
- You will continuously improve the reliability, observability, and resilience of the Operator, ensuring safe rollouts, automated recovery, and predictable behavior at scale.
- A background in Software Engineering or related technical studies.
- 2+ years of experience in Golang, with a strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming principles.
- Good knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and Kubernetes Operators.
- Passion for building high-performance, scalable algorithms and working with modern technologies in the cloud-native space.
