Why Offers matters 

As a Software Engineer on the Offers team, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining real-time, event-based systems that power some of the most commercially valuable moments in our product. Offers is where marketing strategy meets engineering execution: it is the platform the business relies on to create, target, and deliver personalized bonus mechanics quickly and easily to our 140 million+ monthly active users. The features you ship here have a direct, measurable impact on customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. When Offers succeeds, bet365 succeeds. 

Your role and how you will grow 

We are a full stack team. As such, we offer opportunities to expand your skillset and work with low-latency, highly available microservices that serve intense loads of traffic. You will directly contribute to solution proposals, identify areas of technical improvement, implement with innovative tooling, and deploy to complex distributed cloud infrastructure. 

The day-to-day work is fast paced, challenging, and rewarding amidst hardworking and delivery-focused teams. We value individuals with diverse technical skills who are ready to tackle some of technology's greatest challenges and continue to push the boundaries of software innovation. 

Compensation and benefits: 

  • Annual base salary for this role will be between $90,000-$135,000 

  • Discretionary annual personal performance-based bonus 

  • 20 days PTO, plus 12 US holidays and your birthday. 

  • Comprehensive healthcare  

  • 401K matching up to 5% 

  • Hybrid working from home policy, with 3 days in-office at our Platte St location 

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Qualifications

  • Commercial experience within web clients and server-side development using Go, Typescript, React, Kafka, and SQL. Expertise in similar or alternative technologies is welcome. 

  • Experience and passion for using AI technologies to enhance software development productivity. 

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical matters to stakeholders across different areas of the Business. 

  • Experience with software development methodologies and best practices. 

  • Understanding of developer tooling including automated testing and CI/CD systems. 

  • Experience working with high-traffic production systems and evolving business requirements

  • Presenting and iterating on creative solutions in a collaborative environment
