Time is the the most valuable resource we have, yet coordinating it remains stuck in the dark ages. At Blockit, we're building the AI that finally fixes this: an autonomous time agent that handles the full complexity of scheduling—timezones, group coordination, in-person logistics—like an executive assistant that never sleeps.
While every LLM application to date has been a one-on-one conversation, Blockit is one of the first multiplayer, stateful AI agents—coordinating between multiple people, maintaining context across conversations, and taking real actions in the world. As more people connect their calendars, our network becomes exponentially more powerful.
This is the foundation of a platform of AI agents with access to the world's time. We're backed by Sequoia, and we're a small, sharp team that moves fast, ships constantly, and holds a high bar. If you want to build something genuinely new, we'd love to talk.

The roleYou'll expand what Blockit can do and where it shows up in people's lives.
This isn't traditional growth engineering, it's about building new agent capabilities, opening up new surfaces (Slack, mobile, desktop, etc.), and finding ways for Blockit to handle workflows we don't support yet. You'll ship features end-to-end: talking to users, prototyping, building, and measuring. The work spans frontend, backend, and agent engineering.
What you’ll doBuild new features end-to-end: backend, frontend, and agent integrations
Add new tools and capabilities to our agents to handle new workflows
Build and improve integrations with external services (Slack, email, calendar providers)
Collaborate with design and GTM to figure out what's missing and what's broken for our users
Prototype quickly, ship, and iterate based on what you learn
Work across the codebase—you'll touch a lot of different systems
2+ years of industry experience shipping production software
Ability to work across the stack as needed
Product sense: you care about UX, correctness, and clarity, not just passing tests
Pragmatic approach to building: you validate quickly, then harden what works
Clear communicator—written and verbal. You'll be working across eng, design, and users
