About Us

We're tackling one of healthcare's most critical challenges in medical imaging and diagnostics. Our company operates at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and clinical practice, building technology that directly impacts patient outcomes. We've assembled one of the industry's most comprehensive and diverse medical imaging datasets and have a proven product-market fit with a substantial customer pipeline already in place.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Product Engineer who thrives at the intersection of product and engineering. You should have strong coding skills across the stack, a deep appreciation for intuitive user experiences, and the technical expertise to design end-to-end systems.

In this role, you’ll own product features end-to-end, from ideation through to building responsive, user-centric web apps and backend services. You’ll partner directly with users, both internal and external, technical and non-technical to build intuitive solutions that will allow us to effectively scale our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with our clients to build and maintain the integration layer connecting our applications to customer systems, including PACS, RIS, and EHRs, using medical communication protocols such as DICOM and HL7 through site-to-site VPN

  • Onboard with new clients, partnering closely with their team to understand their systems in order to implement an optimal custom integration

  • Build and maintain key internal applications that allows us to effectively distribute case assignments, conduct Radiologist peer reviews, and provide critical insight and analytics into our business and how well it is doing.

  • Proactively identify process gaps, inefficiencies, automation opportunities, and risk in the current processes

  • Fully manage medium-to-large projects independently by having deep experience in domain knowledge, both functionally or technically, and make independent design decisions

Qualifications
  • Have 5+ years of experience developing user-facing software applications

  • Deep proficiency in modern web application technologies for the frontend (e.g., TypeScript, React) and backend services, with a strong understanding of web architecture; especially in interactive and real-time applications with performance considerations.

  • A strong, independent contributor who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, works in uncharted territory, and also has curiosity to learn a complex business area.

  • Experience in building products that customers love. You’ll have come from a background where you have set and led the technical direction of a product from an early stage

  • Skill in quickly understanding systems design tradeoffs and keeping track of rapidly evolving software systems, working through trade-offs, and balancing competing priorities

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including external customers and vendors

  • Experience operating in a startup or startup-like environment, i.e. a small, fast-moving team with high autonomy

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is up to $250,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits for which an individual may be eligible. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
